DIABLO Begin Recording New Album
August 23, 2005Finland's DIABLO entered Fantom studios yesterday (August 22) to begin recording their fourth full-length album for a January 18, 2006 release via the Gaga Goodies/Poko label. The recordings for the follow-up to 2003's "Eternium" are expected to be completed by the end of October, with the album's first single (featuring two cuts) scheduled to surface on November 23. According to the band's singer/guitarist Rainer Nygård, the upcoming album will be their "meanest and darkest" effort to date.
"Eternium" received a wider European release through Drakkar Entertainment in September 2004. That album debuted on the Finnish album chart at position No. 3 after it was issued in Finland in January 2004.
